Working with local snow contractors we were able to develop a replacement regulator and connector option that provides a quality sealed connection, eliminating charging issues. Currently this has been tested and proven to work with the Honda GX390 platform.
We anticipate this will also work for the Kohler CH440 model as well, butcurrently untested. These models use a similar charging circuit however use different wire colors.
Installation is fairly straight forward with a decent pair of wire strippers, a nice pair of crimpers and a heat source to shrink some adhesive lined heat shrink.
Package includes regulator, connector pigtail, crimps and shrink tube.
Select the appropriate harness to match your engine & wire colors!
